Oregano(Origanum vulgare)

Oregano essential oil is steam distilled from the tender green leaves of the purple flowering herb Origanum vulgare. It displays a reviving warm, herbaceous, spicy-sweet and peppery aroma.

Oregano oil contains two powerful compounds, carvacrol and thymol, both of which have been shown in studies to have strong antibacterial and antifungal properties. Carvacrol has a wide range of uses, from treating allergies and bacterial infections to protecting the skin.

How to use

Drip 5-10 drops into aromatherapy, add to water in a lit aromatherapy bottle.

Mix 3-6 drops of oil with 1dcl of milk or a spoonful of honey and add to the bath.
