Premium coffee from Gesha Village Narsha

This quality coffee bean is sourced from Gesha Village, specifically the smallest farming block of Narsha in Ethiopia. At an altitude of 1963-1977 m above sea level, the conditions are perfect for growing this exceptional coffee of the highest quality.

Gesha Village Farm, which is divided into 8 zones, is operated and owned by Adam Overton, Rachel Samuel and Willem Boot. The variety comes from the nearby (20km away) Gori Gesha forest, which was designated by genetic testing as the collection point for the famous 1931 expedition that resulted in the now much celebrated Panamanian Gesha variety.

The premium 1931 Gesha variety delivers a juicy and complex cup like no other coffee, offering a unique and luxurious coffee experience. It is grown with sustainability and environmental considerations in mind, and with dedication and fairness to all employees.

What will this cup of coffee taste like?

Ethiopian Geisha is one of the most luxurious coffees in the world and growing techniques are constantly being perfected. This particular Narsha is processed using the Honey method, which means the beans are sun-dried with some of the sticky pulp, giving a unique and complex sweet cup.

This premium coffee from Gesha Village features balanced acidity and fruity notes of blueberries, fermented cherries, dried mango and yellow fruits. All this is complemented by a distinctive orange peel aftertaste.

Recommended for filter coffee. It is for this method of coffee preparation that the fine roast profile was created. In addition to using it for classic drip coffee from a dripper or drip coffee machine, you can also enjoy coffee from a French Press, AeroPress or Chemex.
