Cafetto Renew Descaler (4 x 25 g)

It contains a synergistic blend of organic acids that provide excellent descaling. All ingredients are rapidly biodegradable and meet international standards. Safe to use on aluminium, brass and stainless steel.

Instructions for espresso machine:

1. Add 1 sachet (25g) of powder to 1 litre of warm water, dissolve and then pour into the water tank.
2. Remove the filter holder and switch on the machine.
3. Place a cup under the head of the machine and drain about 1 cup of descaling solution. Then drain about ¼ cup through the steam nozzle. (For fully automatic machines, let all of the solution pass through the steam nozzle and set the nozzle for hot water, not steam).
4. Leave for 15 minutes and then repeat the process until all the solution is consumed.
5. Repeat the process with clean water to remove any residual detergent.

Instructions for the kettle:

1. Fill the kettle 3/4 full with clean water.
2. Add 1 sachet (25 g) of Renew Descaler
3. Turn on the kettle and allow the solution to come to a boil
4. Discard the boiled solution
5. Rinse and boil the kettle again with clean water

Instructions for the decanter:

1. Add 1 sachet (25g) of Renew Descaler to 1 litre of warm water and dissolve
2. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for cleaning the coffee maker
3. Rinse with clean water
